After a few teasers floating around previously, the Nike Air Max  1, 90, 95, and 97 have been re-designed with new proprietary mesh patterns that enhance the functionality while retaining the overall look of the original models. The new look enables both tight and loose perforation patterns to replace traditional color blocking, gradients and overlay placement. Originally used in performance running footwear, the updated patterns allow for “zoned” construction that’s now tighter and durability with plenty of breathability. The Engineered Mesh Air Max collection will be available beginning January 2013.
