Last night, Nike opened the doors to its newest store on Chapel Street in Melbourne and threw a fête (I really hope you know that means “party”) to celebrate the launch of the store as well as the release of the Air Trainer Max ’94 Premium sneaker. Carrying the best of Nike Running and Nike Sportswear products, the new space spans 206 square meters on the ground floor and 87 square meters on the mezzanine. It’s very large. And very killer.

The Air Trainer Max ’94 Premium is a collaboration between Nike and EA Sports, which first debuted in (shockingly) 1994. Features include a vibrant glow-in-the-dark outsole, EA Sports branding on the tongue, heel, outsole, and the air-sole unit, as well as EA Sports’ “It’s in the Game” slogan on the insole. A lenticular rainbow Swoosh and some reflective side panels finish off a unique overall package. The sneaker is available now exclusively at Nike 267 Chapel Street.
