Ahead of its global online launch tomorrow (Saturday, September 28), Norse Projects roll out the latest visual chapter preceding the release of their Stoflighed project – a collaboration with Vans Vault and Danish textile producer Kvadrat. The project – which pays homage to Danish design – focusses on 3 main elements: Fabric, footwear and furniture, each inspired by the concept of “stoflighed”, a Danish word expressing a mixture of materiality and texture, a key element in Danish architectural and design tradition.

Contemporary Danish textile producer Kvadrat has supplied the Tundra and Tonica fabrics for the project, which are applied to two iconic Vans silhouettes – the Era and Chukka. Both models are available in three distinct colourways and express rich tones and textural qualities. The fabrics are also applied to two classic pieces of furniture, the PK80 daybed and PK91 folding stool from Danish architect Poul Kjærholm, who is revered for his minimal yet functionally oriented designs. Take a look at the video above and get ready to cop the collection online tomorrow, 8PM Central European Time.
