Known for its focused approach to retail, OAK has established itself as a destination for those seeking a highly curated selection of contemporary garb in Metro NYC. One of the hidden secrets of OAK has always been their in-house label, which has amassed a bit of a cult following as its styling and positioning are as focused as the retail selection. This upcoming Fall/Winter season is the first time the collection will see the shelves of retailers globally as the in-house tag is removed and OAK becomes an stand alone label. We are given a proper look at the collection in its entirety via an comprehensive lookbook that clearly shows that focused nature of the label mentioned. A muted color palate gives way to dramatic silhouettes to create diverse looks that easily cater to the wearers boundaries of personal style. Double layered varsity jackets paired with elongated basics. Moto-inspired leathers strategically align with dramatically draped cardigans. All in all we are pleased to see an in-house label take a stance to push the boundaries of menswear rather then conform to the comfort levels of what is “expected” today. Many of the pieces included in the looks are currently available through OAK’s online space.
