It’s an old adage that restriction breeds creativity, and this week we’ve created a range of looks that draw on one main colour, playing with varying shades and tones to create looks that use colour in a refined and cohesive way.

When you think of monochrome you probably think of black-and-white, but the literal definition is an image, or in this case a look, that is created from varying tones of one colour. While we’re big fans of colour here at oki-ni, summer outfits too often become a visual wrestling match, with the red and blue corners squaring off against each other in a fight for dominance. With this FOCUS we hope to demonstrate how bright summer colours can work together, in tag-team, to create sophisticated looks that are a real knockout.
