PAM 2013 Spring/Summer “To & Afro” Collection
Here is a look at an impressive indigo-dyed instalment from the PAM 2013 Spring/Summer “To & Afro” Collection. Consisting of an oversize top, shirt, jacket, chinos, shorts, and a cap the outcome is eclectic while refined as PAM continue to define themselves with a unique sense of high and low. The cotton used is highlighted by a hand-dyed technique from Dakar using traditional Malian techniques. Using 6m deep pits filled with a fermented indigo dye solution, the cotton is folded and tied before being submerged. After drying, creases are removed by hand, using large wooden mallets to beat the fabric, which is laid over large logs.
The items seen here are available now from Someday.
