It’s no secret that Stephane Ashpool and the Pigalle crew are big into basketball. They’ve been involved in various basketball-centric projects for years – most notably their recent collaboration with Nike – so it’s of no real surprise that they’re making further moves in this direction. Yesterday the brand announced it will be launching its own basketball store, complete with an in-house basketball line to fill the shelves. Obviously, this is going to be sweet. The brand has premiered a new logo designed by Parisian art directors Ill Studio – a fresh take on Pigalle‘s ‘P’ (it becomes ‘b’ for basketball) standing in for the regular graphic.
