Raf Simons’ Fall/Winter 2013 collection at Paris Fashion Week was, at its base, all about geometry. That, and looking like you’d just woken up next to your fondue set after a long night consuming red wine and Alan Ayckbourn. Line accentuates line and silhouettes are loose but remain elongated. Vibrant dashes of color combined with bold blocking and prints ensure that this collection remains forward thinking, while horizontal bars at the chest are a unique touch which add a modern element to a collection which is otherwise heavy on the ’70s influences.
