New York’s rag & bone present a new video showcasing a few yet-to-be-released Spring/Summer 2013 pieces. In line with the brand’s SS13 lookbook, which was modeled by local skaters, this video also focuses on skaters wearing the clothes, and follows them as they skate the streets of Manhattan. The new designs have a military aesthetic but are also very casual and flowing. Marcus Wainwright of rag & bone says “For men’s SS2013 we wanted to do something distinctly downtown and it made sense to us to use real people instead of models. We thought it would be cool to use a group of people who are friends,so we asked a gang of skateboarders we know to take part. It also gave us the opportunity to shoot the clothes in action as opposed to just studio shots.” The Spring/Summer collection will be available in stores and online early next year.
