The point-and-shoot game is on fire at the moment. Seems like camera manufacturers left, right and centre are bringing out the goods for anyone who just wants to, well, point and shoot. As such, Ricoh introduces its latest entry to the category, its upgraded GR model. Packing a new 16.2 megapixel APS-C sized sensor, 18mm F2.8 lens, 3-inch, 1.23 million-dot high-resolution screen, and no AA filter (which results in sharper photos), the camera has all the necessities and more, jammed into a compact body that measures 61mm by 117mm by 34.7mm at its widest point. In fact, its the smallest camera around with that sensor size. The GR will see a release in May.
