Presenting a layered collection in a primarily neutral palette (though with red used to full accented effect), Robert Geller referenced German Expressionist films and decadent 1920′s Berlin in his Fall/Winter 2013 offering at New York Fashion Week. Low slung trousers were paired with slouchy knits – often belted for a more tailored effect, but always playing with silhouette and proportion. Blurring the line between formal and casual, outerwear was occasionally of the classic, throwback disposition, occasionally the opposite, while broad-brimmed headwear was a reminder of times past come full circle.
