Robert Geller showed his take on beachy style in his SS13 collection, which was a bit more gritty than the floral trunks we might expect of such a sunny theme. Utilizing leather and rubber to build layers, there are strong lines present, yet these give way to a more dominant softness, achieved through relaxed-fit trousers, shorts and lightweight knits. Blazers are also appropriately lightweight and slouchy. There’s something of the New Romantic in here as well, although maybe that’s just the hats and sunglasses.
