It would seem even the best of the fashion world need a bit of a warm-up / stretching session to knock off a bit of rust as evident by the massive push forward Hedi Slimane’s sophomore collection for Saint Laurent has shown. The raw edge of Hedi’s first collection gives way to  hyper distilled Glam-Rocker admiration with a dash of New Wave and rockabilly to throw the reference catalog into overdrive, and overdrive is surely an understatement. Composer Sam Flax’s soundtrack provided the 7th dimension for your sense just incase they weren’t at capacity from the razor sharp looks, sequins, and the abstract artwork of Matt Connors, Luke Thomas, and Zane Reynolds. This collection reaches far into the rock world for references and returns a nutrition and sleep deprived, rock lord that Bowie himself would  shed a tear over.
