Sanders Fall/Winter 2013 Collection
Throughout Britain’s celebrated Industrial history certain areas became synonymous with certain products, Sheffield with Steel, Luton with Hats and Northampton with shoes, with the quiet idyll in the English Midlands playing host to some of the world’s most respected footwear manufacturers.
Sanders, the latest edition to our ever growing roster of top quality shoemakers, are one of the best known brands to come out of this English footwear honeypot, working out of their factory in Rushden, Northampton since 1873.
Specialising in a variety of sartorial staples, Sanders create top quality British made footwear and are, to this day, one of the most revered names in the industry, having been the manufacturer of choice for a number of high profile designers including End favourites Mark McNairy and Thom Browne, who have both applied their signature approaches to this classic piece of British footwear.
Early adopters of Charles Goodyear’s Welt construction technique, a system which they still specialise in, Sanders expertise lies in a high pedigree of tried and tested methods and an incredibly high standard of materials, creating footwear of unparalleled quality.
New to End for AW13, we’ve taken stock of the best from right across the Sanders range with iconic wingtip brogues, double buckle monks and their classic round toe oxfords all Goodyear welted to stacked leather, crepe and brick rubber sole units.
