London’s sneaker connoisseurs are in for a treat this week, with the launch of a new Saucony space on Neal Street in the heart of the city’s Seven Dials. Opening this Thursday (March 20th) as both a pop-up retail and exhibition space, the location will not only be offering the latest Saucony styles, but also feature an exhibition of much-coveted archive pieces dating from the 1950’s to present day. Based on the fact that this is the footwear company that produced boots for the first American astronaut to walk in space, military boots for the US Army in World War II, and the trainers Rod Dixon wore when he won the New York City marathon in 1983, the archive is likely to be extensive. To coincide with the opening of the store, three previously worldwide sold-out Collaborations will be on sale from Friday 21st. These include the Saucony X Bait ‘Cruel World 1’ Shadow 5000, Saucony X West NYC ‘Cabin Fever’ Shadow 5000, and Saucony X Solebox ‘Three Brothers’ Shadow 5000 Pack.
Get ’em while they’re hot.
