Déjà Vu is the title of the Autumn/Winter 2012 collection by Sixpack France which takes its inspiration from the somewhat confused lexical term. French in origin, the phrase is used commonly through the English language and in America, which as a region is strongly infused through the range. Sixpack France has itself seen a slight appropriation of American style in its clothing, forgoing the hard lines of its initial collections and softening them somewhat, losing the European formalism of their early years. By playfully remixing and re-enacting the codes of France and America, Deja Vu line is imagining a parallel universe in which France and the European continent would have been the ones discovered by a Yankee Colombus  and then infiltrated by indigenous practices. The collection is summed up by Sixpack France as French Americana.
