Attention stylists: please stop using skateboards as props for photoshoots. You embarrass us all. That being said, here we see menswear publication Visual Tales weighing in with its take on the F/W’14 collection from COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT. In the new editorial, the collection is placed in an urban context, shot in New York by Jerry Buttles with styling by David Vandewal. As always, the collection is completely eclectic – shirting takes cut and sew techniques to unexplored places while a utilitarian element is retained with workwear-inspired trousers worn with combat boots and German military sneakers. It’s all worn on a couple of brooding “skaters”.
