SlamXStyle: An outfit In support of the US World Cup
Nike 2014 U.S. Stadium Soccer Jersey (Dempsey) // USA was looking killer in their Nike-designed away kit last night. Plus, Dempsey crushed his first-minute goal. So getting yourself a Dempsey jersey seems like a good way to start off this outfit.
J. Crew X New Balance Made in USA M998 “Independence Day” // These are incredible and we would wear them with almost any outfit.
Stance Unity Socks // Pick your color. We suggest blue because we’re already working with a bunch of red in the jersey, but it’s on you.
G-Star RAW A-Crotch Tapered // Go with a deep-blue, tapered-leg pair of jeans. Give a slight roll to the ankle cuff and you’re good to go.
Maison Martin Margiela Hidden Belt // This belt is wild and fits perfectly within your ensemble.
Illesteva Leonard Sunglasses Matte Black & Blue Mirror // These sunglasses are wild too. We guarantee they will attract opposite-sex fans.
The USA World Cup Team stuck out a phenomenal, improbable win over Ghana last night in their first game of the 2014 tournament. If you didn’t watch, shame on you (unless you’re not American, then we totally get it). But if you did, it probably got you amped for the possibility that the US might actually get out beyond group play. We know it did for us.
And so, we’re using this week’s SlamXStyle, a weekly curated outfit done for a series of timely events, to give you an outfit for rooting on the US World Cup Team. It’s streetwear-y and slick. If you don’t wear it, we will consider it bad luck for our team – and possibly hunt you down if you reside in the NYC area (we may not be huge … but we are fast. You’ve been warned.)
