While in Dubai for the Sole DXB sneaker summit, Nash Bedouin undertook an interesting project – crafting a custom pair of sneakers that reference a variety of different cultural inspirations. Starting with a New Balance sole, he then sliced up a visvim FBT upper and added it to his hybrid. To complete the look, Bedouin hunted through the markets in Satwa to find local fabric that represented the part of the world the sneakers were created in and added a touch of unique color to the mix. The result is the Sole DXB x NASHMONEY 2012 “The Bedouin” – a one of a kind sneaker that reflects the personal style of its creator. (via Hypebeast)
