Scandinavian designer Silas Adler presents the SS15 collection from his Copenhagen-based label, Soulland. The “Deco” collection pays tribute to the artistic/architectural movement of the same name, prominent between the two World Wars. Culture at the time saw an injection of extravagance, which has been reflected in both the construction and exterior prints throughout the collection. The movement also emphasized the aesthetic nature of certain objects (pottery, tapestry and architecture particularly), which is depicted throughout the SS15 range with collages on button-down oxford shirts. An upscale vibe is achieved with goat leather and lamb suede, while we’re also introduced to raw Soulland denim, used for both jeans and jackets.
