Though it’s less than a month old, the Nike SB Shelter in Berlin has already helped countless at-risk youth in the city.

Take a look at the gallery above and short film below. Both not only unpack how the clean, concrete playground of banks, rails, ramps and ledges got it’s design, but also how the new institution goes about serving the kids of Berlin.

Frequented by those of the Nike SB team — Farid Ulrich, Lennie Burmeister, Denny Pham, Youness Amrani, Shane O’Neill — the space also hosts workshops held by Skatehalle Berlin.
