LA’s Generic Surplus has teamed up with ACE Hotel Palm Springs and Steve Harrington for the tri-color Borstal Ace collection. Inspired by sunny Southern Californian culture and the unique Palm Springs landscape, the collection reflects the color scheme and textures of the hotel’s surroundings – astonishing mountains, the cool blues of the pools and the desert. Available in sand beige, cool blue and earth, they feature a woven cotton upper paired with a distinctive rattan mesh. In addition, artwork is presented from Los Angeles-based visual artist Steve Harrington on both the shoebox as well as the insole. (via Hypebeast)
