American hardcore punk band Dead Kennedys are the latest subject for a collaboration over at Supreme. Having formed in San Francisco, California in 1978, the band played a pivotal role American hardcore punk movement of the early 1980s. They gained a large underground fanbase in the international punk rock community, and were one of the first American hardcore bands to make a significant impact in the United Kingdom.

Their eclectic music encompassed their trademark loud and fast hardcore, but also surf music, spaghetti western, psychedelic, garage rock and rockabilly. Jello Biafra’s biting lyrics tackled the sociopolitical concerns of the Reagan era with a distinct sense of morbid humor and satire.

This Spring, Supreme has come together with the Dead Kennedys on a run of garments including a Work Jacket, Pullover Hoodie, Sweat Shorts, Long Sleeve Tee and three graphic T-Shirts. All items have been designed using original artwork from the Dead Kennedys, and will be available in-store NY, LA, London and online April 10th, then in Japan on April 12th.
