Entitled Symphony #0006, Japanese designer Takahiro Miyashita’s sixth collection for his label TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloIst, offers heavy layering and construction for Fall/Winter 2012. A Western wanderer theme seems to have been drawn upon, with thick wools, cottons and leathers used in a variety of styles in shirts, trousers and cardigans, coats and jackets. Earthy tones work well, and the collection manages to maintain a sense elegance and streamline with gloves, hats and scarves looking to the style of years past.
