Initially launched in June of last year The Cools set out to become a revolutionary new social marketplace that for the first time would let independent brands and designers have a direct relationship with their consumers through an interaction and content. Since its launch
the platform has attracted some of the words more progressive independent labels and now stands poised as the leader in providing a voice to the curated elite under this new umbrella. Users being able to browse not only by brands but also familiar tastemakers, bloggers, and other influential community members places discovery and inspiration at the heart of the sites experience. To commemorate its launch The Cool has collaborated with director Jay Maldonado as well as designers, and tastemakers Erin Fetherston, Jona from InAisce, and Steven Rojas to create a film about the sites importance and role to a the new breed of fashion designers.
