The latest issue of The Green Soccer Journal, features this impressive editorial from photographer Ryan Hopkinson of One Small Army. Focused on the solitary position of the goalkeeper, Hopkinson has shot some of the most fascinating goalkeeper shirts from the 1990’s, an era which saw the position that on board a new meaning of the word individualality. Here is a look at shirts worn by the likes of Peter Schmeichal at Manchester United, John Lukic at Leeds, Tim Flowers at Blackburn and Bruce Grobbelaar at Liverpool each drawing fond memories of a period which began to change the game we know and love so much.
