Desert Camo had it’s big moment in the sun back in the ’90s (many rappers actually thought they were soldiers in Desert Storm), and when camo was revived in the late ’00s, the desert variety got at least a little burn along side it’s woodland, digital, and tiger cousins. But now, a whole slew of streetwear brands are bringing the pattern back in a big way.
It perhaps started with the Leather Lux “U.S.B.D.G.A.” collaborative sneaker that Bodega did with Reebok back in October of 2013. And for Spring/Summer 2014, Nike, Kith, Stussy and even Diesel are trying their hand at a desert revival.
