Thom Browne’s bold and colourful collection at Paris Fashion Week featured robot-like models who emerged from silver cocoons to stand in rigid lines while a crowd inspected the garments they wore. It was interesting to say the least, but even more intriguing were the real silver-dipped wingtip brogues that sat at the base of each of the chrysalis-like tubes the models emerged from.
