Australian brand Three Over One have just released images from their Fall/Winter 2010 collection look book. ‘Three Over One sometimes written as 3/1 , meaning the number of over (3) and under (1) weaves during the weaving process to construct a denim fabric’. Giving a very obvious aesthetic of workwear the look book is spilt over two models, one youthful man with tattoos and brut attitude and the other is an older man, white hair and hard worn face, but it is a nice way to show that the clothes look equally as good on both ages. Almost as if they are telling a tale of the longevity of workwear for a man. The fact that these types of garments have been passed on through generations and are still equally as valid as they used to be. Maybe even suggesting the man’s man is back.
