Although its hard to imagine the Spring/Summer season while we’re mired in the bleakness of winter (AND IT’S ONLY JUST BEGINNING), we’re beginning to see previews of forthcoming SS14 collections from a few brands. The latest is from Japanese label ts(s) - founded by Takuji Suzuki and Daiki Suzuki (of Engineered Garments), who present a stylized picture of what to expect for the season ahead. As indicated by the brand’s lookbook, ts(s) still looks to heritage styles for inspiration, but blends them with a contemporary cut and casual silhouette to give the looks a modern context. Coupled with the use of pastel colors and some creative styling, this collection is a cohesive follow up to the brand’s FW13 offering, and a head turner for sure.
