Alakazam!, whose collections are very small and intricate are also a definition of the the psychodelic horror inspired art work Will Sweeney is well associated with. This latest piece though has been designed by Hiroshi Iguchi, and provides a great dimension to the label which stays in perfect suite of the label’s concept. The Bloody Mary Sweatshirt features an aged cotton body and the art work created is on par with the labels horror ideology.

Alakazam! Mini Season 5.5

Alakazam! has just released a small mini series of graphic tees that have been called 5.5. Consisting of graphics that stem from references from b grade horror films, designer Will Sweeny always manages to get the right amount of cheek-in-tongue dark humor. Fabrick, the textile side of the famed Medicom has compiled some of the most exciting names in the street scene and none more so than Will Sweeney’s Alakazam!. The English artist has put together some signature work featuring a monster inspired theme on a selection of items from my favourites the room slippers and cushion to the messenger bag and pouches.
