Impressive as ever, the all suede collection takes in some less than subtle takes on the classic brogue and desert boot.  For many the suede buck will be the highlight (its already shaping up to be this summer’s deck shoe) but, like Elvis, I’m a sucker for blue suede shoes, so expect to see the blue desert boots on my feet in July/August this year.

The doors of A.P.C. in London are now open and here is the first look at the very clean and minimal fit out on Dover Street. The hugely popular French label have been making a really positive impression with their well balanced aesthetic that has extended to their flagship stores. This store features two levels of greatness, with a level for menswear and one for womenswear.

That’s when you know it’s time to take a picture. When I worked with Mattias and Michael, we wouldn’t talk about the photographs so much—we might talk instead about a book of how to make soup that Mattias found at a shop near my home. I always have liked to look upon photographs as an experience, and sometimes this gets me in trouble. The subject of the campaign was an actor from Naples named Ciro, who reminds me of Pinnochio.
