After months of silence, punctuated by the speculation of others, Nicolas Ghesquière has spoken out on the facts that surrounded his abrupt departure from Balenciaga last year. It seems it’s now official. Nicolas Ghesquière, creative director of Balenciaga since 1997, is set to leave the brand effective November 30th, 2012. The designer and the fashion house have made a “joint decision to end their working relationship” at the end of the month. No word yet on what’s next for Ghesquière or the Balenciaga brand. Stay tuned.
