Time has put up some images in their ‘Photos’ section that were taken by Boogie from during his recent travels to Belgrade. Boogie also provides commentary on each photo, as they spark many memories of the photographer’s youth. The photos also are from Boogie’s book, Belgrade Belongs to Me.
Altamont has reached out to one of the grittiest photographers in the art world today, Boogie, for their upcoming collection. Images from Boogie’s first book, It’s All Good, which documents the lives of gang members and drug addicts from his neighborhood in Brooklyn and Bed-Stuy. In addition to the news of his work with Altamont, the photographer is currently showing in a show entitled “5 Days” in Avantgarden Gallery in Milan, Italy. That show opened today and it will be running through March 13th.
