The heritage workwear company have got together with German Outdoor brand Salewa to create a highly technical sleeping bag. Belgian retailer Hunting and Collecting has become a strong favourite of since opening in 2009, and they have adopted another strong concept for their autumn/winter 2011 offerings.

“In combat one has to be flexible, improvise, do what others don’t do – so it is that time of the year where we change the complete interior look of the store and the graphic design. The Fall Winter 2011 Interior at Hunting and Collecting is inspired on the ‘J’ardin d’Hiver – Wintergarden’ – no snowman, no mountains, no skiing, but a colonial feel of exotic plants inside a warm winter garden – minimal as usual. All pictures by Tine Claerhout”

Consisting of the hunting jacket, work vest, knit cap along with the logger pant and bronco pant, which include both a clean finish and damaged version this makes for a compelling installation.

With Adam Kimmel presenting his latest collection in a more traditional runway show in Paris, you may have thought his installation days were over, but we should have known better. To celebrate the launch of his Carhartt collaboration and its Barney’s release, the designer pulled in artists George Herms and Paintallica to take the Carhartt tradition to the window of Barneys.
