Converse have teamed up with Huf for the latest instalment of their Converse 1HUND(RED) series, the Skidgrip Hi.  Featuring monochromatic black canvas uppers with a repeat “H” pattern on the outer and lining that subtly references vintage skate graphics and type, and the Huf logo on the mid-sole and laces.  It launches globally on October 3rd 2009 and will be available at Huf in San Francisco and Los Angeles, and a percentage of the price goes to fight aids in Africa.

The shoe that is used here is the world famous Chuck Taylor All Star High and it comes in a really lovely lavender suede with some really cool details. For instance, the inside lining features the Wood Wood star map pattern with minimal perforations on the side of the shoe. To top things off, the trademark 1HUND(RED) red eyelets adorn the top of the shoe for some added spice. I am truly a huge fan of monochrome shoes and this lavender colorway is a really nice touch. This is really a homerun shoe in my opinion and I cannot wait to see it in person. The shoe will be available at a small handful of retailers and it is slated to be released on October 1st, so be on the lookout! Check more images after the jump.
