Here is a fascinating project between Japanese label Deluxe and Hong Kong based retailer and label CLOT with the two reworking a classic Western Shirt to suit each others philosophy. This impressive Deluxe x CLOT Western Silk Shirt will release on February 9 and below is a greater insight into the project.

Deluxe Head Designer Hue explains; “Their persistence in brand image building and the fearlesscourage for continuing to be innovative is so much alike to Deluxe. Working with CLOT is an enjoyableexperience that full of freshness. Though we were in different countries, the design and productionprocess was all done smoothly with ease. CLOT acted incredibly professional and I cannot respect andagree more to their serious and sincere attitude towards work.”

Edison Chen adds; “DELUXE has great attention to detail and great processes of finishing clothing, sothey places our CLOT silk in a perfect harmony with the shirt that neither increases or decreasesthe aesthetic of the shirt but makes the inner workings of this shirt a much higher grade than mostothers. Based in Fujui, an area renowned for making eyewear the label has a rich history in eye wear design. These frames are provided with a vintage touch that reflects the current Deluxe season with a traditional shape that feature a 10K gold detailing.
