David Choe couldn’t get any bigger right now, off the back of his Facebook fame (and wealth) the artist has risen to the helm of art fame – and it doesn’t get much bigger than this! David Choe made a decision in 2005 which will change his life forever. The artist decided to take a stake in Facebook rather than monetary payment at the time for his commissioned artwork at the companies HQ. While its unknown as to the status of the shares Choe received, what has been revealed is that Choes shares in Facebook, after the companies IPO announcement valued at $5billion USD, are valued at $200 million USD. Stay tuned for the details as they come to hand, and probably more interestingly what is to become of David Choe and his career.

Porsche is celebrates reaching 2 million fans on their Facebook page this month with a new Cayman S. The car company has dedicated a special Cayman S vehicle to its fans with a specially designed car covered from front to back with each individual’s portrait. Catch the car in person at the Porsche Museum starting later this month, and if you added them on Facebook you can look for your picture on the car online here.

Street Artist David Choe has been commissioned by Facebook to help decorate their new headquarters in Menlo Park, California. The artist was asked to do the same in 2006 to the social network giant’s original location, and a similar treatment is applied this time too.

Whether or not they can, whether or not that have the product, the timing, the know how, is yet to be decided, but what we do now know is thatG are giving it one big shot with Google+. Currently in ‘Invite Only’ beta, the site will gradually roll out with the pure purpose of competing with facebook – who know host a massive 500 million + users.

Circles - a functionality that allows individuals to place friends into groups, allowing users to share different forms of content with targeted clusters of friends

Hangouts - live multi-user video conferencing that permits friends to drop in and out of live group conversations

Huddle - group instant messaging

Sparks - a feature that connects individuals on the network to others with common interests.

Facebook. I have to say getting stuck on facebook is the worst. If I had all these “tools” in college, I’d be one smart dude. The internet is so powerful. We used to get our message across by putting stickers up around and tagging brown fences with white OSH paint with fat caps on the freeway. Times have surely changed.

The Brazillian Barack Obama’s. All 6 of them. I absolutely loved this story when I first heard of it. I didnt follow it day to day but was in awe of how the phenomenon of being the first black president has affected the world. I think you all should read this cause it’s changed peoples lives. None of the Six Obama’s won in Brazil but it got people thinking. I’m sure the next election will be a good one.
