To commemorate Nike’s iconic 1972 Cortez shoe/new 2009 Flymotion Cortez shoe and it’s release in the form of a double pack yesterday, Nike Europe held a little presentation and pre-launch the day before at Ido’s place, 290SQM. Mila and I went to check that out. And the Foodware catering, of course (what up Sanders!).

The Nike 21 Mercer Store will be opening on August 22nd in SoHo, New York City. As you all know, there have been numerous pop-up openings and retail installations in recent weeks celebrating the release of the ever-so amazing Nike Sportswear line, but now is the time for the opening of the ultimate retail experience for Nike Sportswear. The Nike 21 Mercer location will be the first actual retail store for the new line and it will house the entire collection of NSW, as well as items exclusive to the store. Nike Sportswear Flywire “Influencer Pack”

Nike have put together quite an interesting collection of items which has culminated in an ‘Influencer Pack’. Consisting of a pair of Air Max 90 Flywire, the Flywire Windrunner, a Nike Sportswear tee all packed away in a holdall bag. The simple Air Max 90 Flywire features a simple black upper with a white sole while the tag on the tongue features Chinese characters translating to the meaning of Flywire technology, “running so fast you feel like your flying.” The finish of the Flywire Windrunner which was featured in large in the New Order “08080 : Nike Goes To Beijing” appears in a green and white finish. And to finish of the pack which showcases the latest technology from Nike is the Nike Sportswear tee. Take a closer look at the pack below.
