As you can see from this video, the culmination of months of anticipation came to a head at the Harajuku H & M location this past weekend for the release of Comme des Garcons' line for the popular retailer. A horde of people was on hand in hopes of picking up what would be Rei Kawakubo's first and only merchandise really available for such a mass market. Comme des Garcons is a line admired worldwide, but worn by few due to pricing and availability, so this new venture with H & M makes for an interesting development with moderately priced offerings and its easier accessibility.
