The Issey Miyake Fall/Winter 2013 Collection is defined by a technical and functional approach. While there is a more subdued element to the collection with solid colors and patterns, the amount of fluro colors and waterproof materials used while maintaining the Japanese designers renowned aesthetic make this an outstanding instalment. The London 2012 Olympic Torch by East London designers BarberOsgerby has been awarded Design of the Year in a ceremony held at the Design Museum in London yesterday.
