One auction that is part of the Nike 6.0 Lightening Bolts series consists of SLAMXHYPE’s very own Andrew Pommier. Ending Wednesday December 17 this run of auctions also includes such names as Don Pendleton, Tofer, Jeff Tremaine, Chris Reed and many more as well as the sneakers in which Bob Haro designed for the auction and his unique plate. Nike Lightning Bolts Final Exhibit Coverage

Recently I was in Los Angeles to open our exhibition “Bailout” I also was able to catch the Nike 6.0 Lightening Bolts party which coincided with the auction of the plates which will benefit the Athlete Recovery Fund. The exhibition contains unique works from over 45 artists. While the likes of Godfather of Freestyle Bob Haro and 6.0 BMX rider Nigel Sylvester, were on hand for the celebrating BMX with a special screening of Writing on the Wall, a BMX film by Nike 6.0. The online auction will be staggered with items ending each weekday ending December 17th. In addition there is some great news for sneaker fans with Bob Haro designing an epic pair of footwear for Nike, and all we can do is hope for a release.

Nike Lightning Bolts Final Exhibit and Auction

I thought I would take your minds away from “Bailout” for a minute and with this exceptional event Nike 6.0 have put together. The Lightening Bolts Auction will open on Wednesday night with a party at Montalban in Los Angeles. A great concept featuring some really great pieces of art on the BMX plates renown Bob Haro made famous, featuring some impressive names including Michael Leon and Andrew Pommier who are involved in “Bailout” and some favourites of SLAMXHYPE in Tofer Chin, Michael Lau, Tet from WTAPS while there are new artists included. The great part from the auction is that all proceeds from the auction will go to the Athlete Recovery Fund.
