The New Balance 991 has garnered a cult following. Initially replacing the 990, the 991 was originally released in during the early 1990’s and replaced the innovative designs of the 1980’s with a more modern technical finish, befitting of its functional and performace qualities. The shoe marries nylon mesh underlays with premium suede overlay uppers finished with reflective accents and branding as well as a seamless fit. This is the much awaited follow up to Nonnative’s collaboration with New Balance last year, the ‘Coyote’. We’ve shown previews prior, but END have revealed they will be stocking the shoe, making it much easier for us to get our hands on than the previous model. Drawing influences from desert imagery, This tonal brown NB997 mixes supple suede’s and leathers with mesh toes and covers something like ten different shades if you count the cream-colored midsole sections.

The 1300 has been redone in two colorways and will make a limited release with this Made in the USA design that combines a suede and mesh uppers, along with ENCAP Sole Shock Absorption.

Undefeated, Stussy and Mad Hectic have teamed up once again to great effect by reworking another classic New Balance silhouette. By taking the M996, the outcome of the “SMU” is highlighted by the original design and was a pivotal piece when jogging really become a part of life during the 1980’s.

Combining traditional styling with a scenic backdrop, the imagery is refined and emphasis the concept of the store.
