Shaun White Oakley Frogskins – A First Look

Shaun White, who already has a signature sunglass with Oakley with his popular Montefrio frame from the Square O program, will have a special and limited edition pair of Frogskins that will be releasing soon. Here is a first look at them now. These clean metallic blue Frogskins will come with a custom sunglass bag and like all Frogskins, they will come in limited numbers, actually, slightly less than normal. These are set to drop in June, so be sure to stay tuned for more information.

The newest Oakley Frogskins have surfaced on their site, which is good news as daylight savings time just kicked in, and what better way to usher in the the shift than with some protective eyewear from the company that does it best. Continuing with the 4-legged style introduced last month, this latest release in Matte Denim and Grey is sure to fly off shelves. This nice color combination is actually the same as my high school’s colors, so they sort of spark…nostalgia from days of yore. You can get your hands on these here.

A while back, we did a post about some extremely limited Oakley Frogskins that were handpainted by artist, Andrew Petterson. We should you six examples out of the fifty that were created, and now, we would like to show you three more images. All have been sent out to retailers already, so people will only be able to view them in person, or through a special website dedicated to these unique sunglasses and in this case, all fifty will be available for viewing through the site. That website will launch later on in the week, but for now, here is a look at a few more pairs.

Andrew Petterson Oakley Frogskins

Andrew Petterson has handpainted 50 pairs of Oakley Frogskins that will be released soon to a very small handful of retailers. I have seen all 50 of them first hand, I must say that Petterson did an extremely impressive job with them. Each pair is unique and they will come in all black packaging to be sold in sort of a “grab-bag-like” philophy in which the consumer will not know what pair he or she is receiving. Also, retailers are urged not to divulge the contents of each package. Only 25 shops were selected to carry these, with 2 pairs being allocated to each location. Here are some images of some of the sunglasses, with more to follow.
