Acting as curator, for our second offering, Arkitip has chosen artist Parra for the series of artistically driven products for Pendleton Woolen Mills. Having worked with a host of brands and entities over the years, Parra has provided his distinctive critique to the otherwise traditional and design emphasised Pendleton Woolen Mills. The Amsterdam based artist explains ”being a fan of the issues and artists that Arkitip published before every collaborating with them, I could always appreciate how they match artists to top quality products. Now after working with them for many years in various ways, this Pendleton blanket is another perfect example.”

Ronnie Fieg’s retail store Kith presents their latest apparel collaboration with Pendleton. Combining fashion and functionality, the two introduce a wool and leather varsity jacket made with true craftsmanship by Goldenbear. Four colorways in all, each style is limited to 24 pieces and will be available in both the SoHo and Brooklyn locations starting today as well as Kithnyc.com with a price tag of $400 USD through $450 USD.

Here is an impressive project between two names in the pinnacle of their field with Stussy and Pendleton working together on a small installation. With the project between Nike ACG and Pendleton continuing in fine fashion, here is a great piece with the Big Jim Jacket. With the Levi’s Workwear by Pendleton Collection set to make a release in November here is a greater insight into the collection with some well defined pieces. The combination of two very well known concepts makes for a great line, with the core elements of Levi’s workwear and the superior craftsmanship of Pendleton’s history of well crafted woven goods from the American West. The collection includes a Western Trucker Jacket in a rugged Cone Denim and Jacquard-Lined Trucker Jacket, with a lining produced by Pendleton paneling that is removable with the theme derived from Navajo cowboys, who ranch and ride in the Southwest desert of the US. In addition to the products, there will be an “Americana” documentary entitled “Bares, Broncs and Bulls in the Navajo Nation” and will air on VBS.tv on November 15.
