Simplistic and quality, sums up these very well executed boots from Robert Geller. The Humboldet boot which features an interesting bit of stitching down the toe really provides a new dimension to the boots that mix a workboot feel with a more formal silhouette. While I am really impressed with the brown pair which features a wood like sole, although you can never looks past the most classic form of black.

Its almost becoming a signature look of Geller’s, the use of textured grey’s, this Spring’s collection mixes textured grey cotton pants and jackets with stripes and a slim silhouette, soft pants, and some great leather detailed jackets. Its easy to see why Robert Geller is hailed as the next big thing in menswear.

Robert Geller is one of the designers we’ve been following quite closely for some time now, here is a look at another great series of items from the A/W 2008 collection which includes rubberized jackets, pants, knits and tees. having previously worked the Marc Jacobs and Alexandre Plohkov at Cloak, the New York-based German designer launched his own collection bearing his name in Autumn/Winter 2007. Drawing inspiration from a man on a journey from the 1800’s, Robert Geller attempts to portray the feeling of an educated man on an exploration journey through this 08 collection.

Robert Geller is without a doubt one of my favourite designers at the moment, another from the school of contemporary yet classic menswear, I guess you can tell where my tastes lie! And while this bag lacks some of the wearable and toned down nature of Geller’s signature aesthetic, it does show a genuine ability to produce tasteful luxury goods, in keeping with his Jewelry collection.
