62nd Cannes Festival Palme d'Or Award Goes To…

“The White Ribbon” directed by controversial Austrian director Michael Haneke. “The White Ribbon” done entirely in black and white,  chronicles a series of mysterious events in a small German town leading up to the outbreak of WWI.  Best Actor and Best Actress awards went to Christopher Waltz (Inglorious Basterds) and Charlotte Gainsbourg (Antichrist).
