In a match made in heaven, New York’s footwear supremo Mark McNairy teams up with Timberland to remake their iconic 6 Inch Boot. McNairy adds some bold colour to the classic boot with 2 colourways set to be available as part of a larger collection in Fall/Winter 2012.

Back in 2009, we saw the release of the first Timberland x Supreme collaboration featuring the classic Field Boot. This winter, Supreme will be revisiting their relationship with Timberland, instead, working with the another classic model from Timberland, the Euro Hiker. As always when revisiting classics, Supreme does an amazing job injecting their own approach, but never sacrificing the origin of the product. Having garnered much attention by New York City youth’s in the early 90s, Supreme has updated the boot using high quality leather from Horween®, a padded collar and tongue with a rubber rand around the boot for added protection. The Boots will come in four different colors, accompanied by two different  set of laces made exclusively for Supreme.

Available in-store in NY, LA, London and online on December 8th. Available in Japan on December 10th.

Supreme renew their work with Timberland with this well defined Euro Hiker boot that combines the tastes of both entities. The highlight is the premium leather upper provided by Horween accented by suede accents applied to the ankle and tongues. In addition to other detailing like the leather logo patch stitched to the tongue and the metal lace hooks are metal, this is a release we can look forward to once winter kicks in.

Japanese label mastermind JAPAN is the latest name to rework the iconic Timberland 6″ boot. The design maintains much of the original structure, with the original wheat colorway also a mainstay. In addition though the boot features a zipper-closure lace unit along with twisted lace endings while the mastermind JAPAN logo stamped on the tongue and is featured on the heel in the shape and form of a silver pendent. The Timberland x mastermind JAPAN 6″ Boot will be available in limited quantities come Spring/Summer 2012 so be certain to hear more about this project in good time.
