Last week, I made mention of Tofer Chin’s upcoming exhibition, “Double Dip,” at the Cerasoli Gallery in Culver City and now that the show is just around the corner (it’s this weekend), I would like to show you a preview of what to expect. Inside you will find snippets of some of his paintings that will be on display, in addition to a little sampling of a limited edition print in which the artist makes use of blotter paper made to resemble a perforated sheet of acid tabs.
Tofer Chin will be following up his extremely successful “Vivid” show, with a new exhibition opening on March 14, 2009 at the Cerasoli Gallery in Culver City, CA. “Double Dip” will showcase new work from Tofer, including some larger scale paintings as well as the unveiling of a new limited edition print on blotter paper made to resemble a sheet of acid tabs. Tofer Chin’s follow-up book to his acclaimed hit, Finger Bang, is set to release in the very near future at ROJO. In his latest book entitled Vacation Standards, Tofer creates an eclectic mix of disturning imagery along with some of the more beautiful variety, but in Tofer’s eyes, that can be a broad spectrum of things.
