Vans have teamed up with a favourite of ours on SLAMXHYPE in White Mountaineering to create this impressive version of the Mountain Edition. Vibrant and epitomizing the philosophy of the Japanese label that is inspired by the outdoors. The addition of a gingham print adds a really nice touch while the navy/red and yellow/grey colorways blend together really well.

A shoe that has been at large one of the most iconic skate sneakers and in more recent times been interpreted in fashion circles with a more abstract approach. Having already teamed up with Vans, the two reworked the much loved Authentic creating a really exiting outcome. While we showed you this upcoming Supreme X Vans collaboration a while back, the news has now become official. The 4 colourways of the classic shoe, two in camouflage with canvas uppers and two in suede. Both with leather lining and insoles.Alongside a number of new tee’s, the new Vans will release in-store and online on November 27th, with Japan seeing its release on November 28th.

Vans Syndicate have created a another unique project this time round with Feal Mor with a piece entitled “A La Vie”. The Chukka Low features the world’s rarest French Marine Camouflage pattern obtained from a French Indochina jacket. This exceptional pair of shoes are now available from Supreme and Vans Syndicate accounts.

Juxtapoz founder Robert Williams has created a rebellious image for himself during his time and this latest project with Vans Vault is something to behold. The painter has created 13 pairs of hand painted Vans Authentics’ that coincide with the theme of his new show at The Tony Shafrazi Gallery in New York. Available at DQM on October 31st, 2009.

The new Vans limited edition sees them take the familiar shape of their SK8-HI and introduce a Native American theme. By adding a moccasin style toe, fringe detail and embroidery to the well-known shape and padded collar they have subtly twisted this classic design to give it a whole new feel.

Here is another hugely impressive collaboration between Vans and HUF. Using the Old Skool as the canvas, HUF have provided the sneaker with a combination of materials with canvas and leather. The simplicity is the main facet while the logo etched in the heel and on the tongue adds something as well as the jagged line round the midsole. Releasing exclusively through HUF in Los Angeles and San Francisco on October 17 this will be another highly anticipated drop.

I cannot remember the last time we talked about Vans here on SLAMXHYPE, but there is no better way to break the ice than with this great tonal grey Era. The nubuck leather finish is one to appreciate along with the complete simplicity of the design on a silhouette which is known all to well.
